“We hired Island Builders to completely renovate our 1945 3900 sq. ft. home after interviewing six different companies. We spent along time up front researching this project and wanting to make sure we hired the best company to renovate our forever home. We knew we made the right choice from the moment we started the design and planning with their architect. Professional and full of great ideas was our introduction and it just kept getting better. Dave the owner we really can’t speak more highly about. Not only does he know his stuff. He goes out of his way to accommodate everything and anything we asked about. His wealth of knowledge is vast and he is always looking for ways to save money and reach the absolute best result. The gold standard of professional in this industry and as a person. His team are all on top it, polite and very skilled. He’s obviously created an atmosphere for his employees to strive to be the best. This showed in every part of their demeanour. Once they started the job they were on site everyday with each and every step of the process scheduled and followed up on. Communication throughout was excellent. James the lead foreman treated our home like his own and went above and beyond for us at every turn. We have completed many renovations throughout the years. We have never experienced such a kind, caring and professional team like Island Builders. Our newly renovated home looks it was a brand new build. Every part of the renovation and completed results absolutely exceeded my wife, children and my expectations of what was possible with our old wore out home. In fact neighbours we had never met went out of their way to compliment the workers on site and how beautiful our home was. They were always aware of the neighbours for noise and cleanliness and kept the work site spotless. If you are able to get into their schedule. Which is tough, as they are a very sought after, as we found out. Don’t hesitate!! Consider yourself lucky!! You will be amazed how hard these guys will work for you and make sure every little detail is completed to it best possible result. We went from the ugliest house on our street of beautiful homes in Rockland to by far the nicest house on the street.
