Jardin Infantil Academy was founded to offer city kids the chance to learn, play, and grow in a forest school environment. We’re a small, family-owned business that enriches early childhood education by delivering it in an outdoor setting, nurturing a life-long love and appreciation for the environment.

What does this look like day-to-day? Imagine building epic forts with your friends in the morning and cooling off at the splash pad in the afternoon.

Our daycare kids practice their numbers by counting ducks and squirrels, and learn their letters by drawing them in the dirt or snow. In the summer months, they enjoy a healthy picnic lunch and rest afterwards in a tent. For our campers, learning comes through play as well as pursuing their own unique interests. Our theatre kids rehearse their performances under the trees; our art kids create their own jewellery; those in the cooking camp grill vegetables for quesadillas; and our nature kids hike to a pollinator garden to spot butterflies.
