“I rented the house in Bissett this weekend for my visiting family of 8...4 adults and 4 children (ages 7-15); everyone had a comfortable bed and they were all very happy with their accommodations. “It's been closed since pandemic started. Hopefully it will be opened again. It's a hotel that was started in the 1930s. Very big and old but they used half the bottom for a vendor/bar. Owners moved vendor to Wynne's store. You can get beer , liquor, cigarettes and groceries there. Good people. Stop by on your way in highway 304 in Bissett Manitoba. About 2.45 hours from Winnipeg or 1.5 hours from pine falls. Beautiful place .”

“Ron Cameron was the most amenable host one could ask for. He cooked us dinner for 7 and came back in the morning at 5:00 am to cook us breakfast even though he doesn’t open till 3:00 pm. He even sold one of us 6 eggs that she had forgotten to pack for our 10 day canoe trip on the Bloodvein. If you are in the area, stop in for a snack and some wonderful hospitality. Cheers Ron!”
