  They took great care of me. Car was in great shape and they had a good selection. Due to an incoming storm they helped me pick an AWD vehicle which came in handy.
  
  Edit Feb 2019: used them yet again (got an email asking me to leave a review and forgot I had left one last time). They're still great. Once again they hooked me up with a vehicle that was appropriate to the winter conditions. I don't know if that's a deliberate choice to stock more AWD vehicles because it's Manitoba, or if I just keep getting lucky when I have to rent in winter, but I've never gotten stuck with a vehicle that wasn't right for the situation when renting here.

  Another great experience. I was upgraded to an SUV at no extra charge. They were able to get me going real quick and staff are always friendly. Being and Emerald Club member has its perks!

  Great work by Jordan to understand that the initial car that was booked for me would not fit the whole family. Smart upgrade. Too bad it was a Buick Regal...even though it is an upgraded class it is small...and a hatch.

  I rented this vehicle last week from the Winnipeg airport location. I inquired as to why there was no extension cord for the block heater on the car. I was told they do not give them out because they are not returned. I was out of the city bounds in Winnipeg with -40 degrees Celsius temperatures including wind chill. This is Winnipeg and it is unacceptable to rent a vehicle with not providing an extension cord. The vehicles are checked when you return them and if they're returned without the extension cord then you can simply be added to the customer's bill. Unacceptable.
  As well because I was so upset at the attendant Adidas shoe with the extension cord I had failed to realize that they did not provide me either a snow brush. I would seriously consider my choice next time I am in Winnipeg and using National.
  
  I was contacted by customer service and assured that this matter would be investigated.
  I am happy with the outcome.

  I have been using National for years and I've never had a reason to go to any other rental company. I always compare pricing and 9 time out of 10 find them to be very competitive. National has always address any issues I've had promptly and to my satisfaction. I never give 5 star.
