“Didn't try the food. They make a good negroni, but depending on the bartender they may not be able to make the range of cocktails you'd expect from a speakeasy style spot. Still, prices run on the cheaper end for a cocktail bar. Lighting skews a little dark, but is okay. The neon lights are cool, and the art on the walls has an intentionally trashy vibe to it that I enjoyed. Couches are comfortable, but it tends to divide the room between the half with high tables by the bar and low-slung couches and chairs. I suspect the music quality may depend on the act, when I was there all the sound came from two speakers right beside the DJ, and sounded a little tinny. But, this review is based on two hours from one night. I'd give it another chance. It's not fantastic, but it was still ok. They have house music on Thursdays, which may be a little better in terms of audio quality.”

“Best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. The spicy thai chili and spicy ranch sauce were an excellent compliment to the fires and sandwich. The staff is also outgoing and hospitable. He had me cracking up with some of his comments. Whenever I am back in Winnipeg this is my 1st stop.”

“This is the place to go for breakfast!!! Just love the selection...great food quality as well. The decor and ambiance is very comfortable with a feeling of being at home. Staff was friendly and helpful with very fast and friendly service. You may have to be prepared for a bit of a wait on weekends since they are quite busy at times but the wait is never unreasonable.”
