Visited this restaurant several times. Always pleased with the subs and VN coffee.. Excellent Quality, fantastic service.. I recommend this place.. Allen
Best bang for your buck, even it cost more Id have a hard time staying away. One of the best tasting banh mi I've had, I ordered the beef banh mi
I was introduced to Khanh Hoa several years ago by a friend. They have authentic Vietnamese banh mi subs that are very delicious and affordable. The pork is a must try. You can not beat the flavors or the price! Do not let a language barrier confuse you for rude service. The older couple that owns the shop have always been fantastic to me over the years. I am always treated great and leaving with a smile. I recommend calling in your order ahead as there can sometimes be a wait. Highly recommend you try!
An excellent Viet sandwich shop that offers a limited but delicious selection. What they do make is authentic and well worth the price at $6-7 per sandwich. I would highly recommend the grilled pork or the BBQ meatball. Sometimes they have also had some Viet desserts that are excellent as well.
They only take cash and the lady that makes the sandwiches does not speak English. Ensure that you point to what you want on the sign to ensure you get the correct sandwich. The chilies they add have a good kick so only take them if you enjoy the heat.
I highly recommend.
This shop was running by old couple. They only sells "banh mi" and springs roll but the taste is fantastic and authentic Vietnamese food. Bread is full of different Vietnamese ham, pickle, vegetables just for 6CAD, while grill pork/chicken/beef is 7CAD. All are delicious but my favorite is still grill pork. I can say best banh mi in town. From the owner I know all the ham, meat here was made by the owner, not from those Vietnam supper market there. That's why you can't find that anywhere else. This shop is small, no advertising, but always has a lot of order from Vietnamese community (that Western people doesn't know). My advice is call for order before pick up because it takes a bit time to make. The shop open all days a week and from 9 am to 6pm during winter and 7pm during summer time.
