“The “Latinos Market” is a cute and quirky store set up in an old movie theatre in the St. James area of Winnipeg near Polo Park. I came here to buy hominy to make a soup from a recipe book (and I could not find this item anywhere else). It has all sorts of Latin American products that I suppose are hard to find elsewhere. They also just have really unique products such as tamarind-flavoured soda and various other treats. I was pleasantly surprised to find that you can buy corn tortillas here which are tricky to find in Winnipeg. The look of the place has this temporary “let’s see if we make money first before renovating” vibe, which makes a lot of sense, so don’t expect the store to be super well-organized, but you can always ask the staff to help you out if you’re looking for something in particular.”

“My dad comes to Robin's everyday and chats up everyone like there's no such thing as boundaries. The thing is, it's really sweet of him and this is his only social activity because he's busy alot and more of a loner type, so the staff are amicable and pay extra attention to us because of my dad. The breakfast menu here is only sandwiches, the donuts look nice and there's nice booths to sit in. Thanks dad, for keeping a tradition I have known my whole life and thanks Robin's for putting up with my husky, loud- sometimes multicolored hair- laughing dad, he is the ultimate dad joke and I love him”

This is a blessing (more items to tickle your fancy) and a curse (it can be hard to see items or pull them out for a better look). Navigating the narrow aisles can be a hassle. “I’ve had several tattoos done here at Tattoos For The Individual. The staff is so kind and welcoming. They’re there to answer any questions whenever I’ve had any, they’re all very professional and informed. Cleanest shop I’ve ever been in as well. I’ve had one half sleeve done by Kurt, he created an amazing custom design of Medusa for me. His work is absolutely phenomenal beyond words, he’s extremely professional and makes the whole experience enjoyable. He is absolutely one of the best tattoo artists out there. I’ve also had 2 tattoos done by their apprentice Jack, I love both of my tattoos from him & I would get more from him any day! he’s very passionate about tattooing & makes the experience memorable and comfortable. “Mom and Pop feel out of a mega supplier - way more than I expected. I am so grateful Bryce found me wandering aimlessly and hooked me up with exactly the washer and dryer I needed. After talking to so many pushy sales people who wanted me to buy brands I didn't believe in or want to support, he helped me make a purchase I felt good about. I recommend this location to absolutely everybody and purchased my stove from them as well - not a single complaint AND the delivery team was AWESOME, which was a new experience for me. “Chic colorful decor and outrageously good comfort food. The staff was outgoing, and greeted us like family. They have card games and board games free to play and you can even get a hookah to puff on (though we didn't). They serve food, atmosphere, entertainment, and everything in between. “No offense but the store in general, is convenient, but the deli has declined over the years. It seems to be targeted more toward the Asian community with their infused flavors, not geared toward the general neighborhood. The potatoe salad, stew, chili, and chicken salad we will never buy again. The chicken salad had cartilage in it and turned us off. The deli meat counter should be cleaned up as well, and the workers should change their gloves when serving customers.”

“I am shocked by some of the reviews on here! I have a hard time giving 5 stars to anything because that would mean it is perfect. I am about to embark on my third and final year at the college, and I have never EVER seen or heard of any of my classmates dealing with bullying! The college staff are very approachable and supportive. Of course, professionalism is always expected of everyone.. We come together both as student body as well as idividually at least twice a year to express any concerns we may have as well as suggestions we may like to share. In my time there so far, I found the college is very receptive to the ideas they have been presented with, and truly interested in providing the best experience possible for all. I think Wellington is an excellent school and I would recommend it to anyone!”
