“The Peppercorn is a nice restaurant in the town of Oakbank. They have amazing steak, and if you have the opportunity to try his cheesecake you won't regret it! (Make sure to share the latter with a friend though as it is quite rich!) I've had a variety of foods from the menu and have usually enjoyed what I've had, with the odd time not. The menu is quite large, I think if it was a bit smaller it would allow them to focus on those pieces and excel at them. The interior could be updated, but I'm not one to focus on that necessarily when enjoying good food! I haven't been to the bar side of the business, but it's usually got quite a few patrons in it. Definitely worth a stop in if you're passing through.”

“Where ever you are it is worth the trip. Everything they put through the window is great. Glad they are open for the season again. Portions are plentiful. About a 10 to 15 minute wait for your order depending on the line up. Worth the wait. Once you have it you will go back.”

“I can’t believe they got that guy from Dugald the slowest “sandwich” artist I have ever encountered. I see people leave immediately once they see him behind the counter. He takes his time but makes awesome sandwiches!”

“Went for lunch in early spring. Service was really good, very friendly. Food was tasty, arrived quickly, and portions were quite big. You'll most likely need a reservation, but those can be made online easily, and you can see when there's openings. Be sure to check out the boutique, especially if you like the farmhouse shabby style. Had a Beef Chorizo Burger, and my wife had Fish and Chips (pickerel).”

“It's a good local place to snowboard&ski but the area to ride in has decreased with less snowmaking.. I've been coming here for years and this is the smallest open area I've seen. It has a lot of good rails but only 1 jump opened after February. It would be nice to have more small jumps like previous years ..”
