(July 21, 2017, 7:22 pm)Part of any historical Red River fur trade tour... the forts and all the churchs along the Red... most are designated National Historic sites and worth the effort to see and learn our history.
(May 10, 2016, 7:04 pm)I stopped here on all three trips to see my girlfriend in Winnipeg in 2015. On one stop we were fortunate enough to find the church open and could go inside. It is beautiful inside and out; the oldest church in western Canada. Highly recommended for all to see!

Built between 1845 and 1849, St. Andrew's-on-the-Red Anglican Church (PHS) is the oldest stone church in Western Canada still used for public worship. This Gothic Revival church has massive walls, small painted windows, a steep roof and a full wooden steeple.
