“Everything was good, but nothing was perfect. The service was a little slow especially considering how few other customers there were at the time. The food was great, even though it was slightly burnt. And they got my order slightly wrong. It may seem like I'm really bashing them but i don't mean it that way. It was a great experience and I'll definitely be going back.”

“Everything is expensive but oh my goodness, does it taste good! Service there was quick and friendly, atmosphere is sweet and relaxing. Perfect place for a coffee date. But $5 per coffee and $8 per slice of cake is still expensive, unfortunately. Otherwise I would go there more often.”

The Ole' Farmhouse Café

“Luck brought us to The Ole Farmhouse. We just happened by and saw a busy parking lot and figured we better go see what the fuss was about. You're welcomed by a sign that says "Come in we're Awesome" which immediately made my day. And they were right! We didn't have a reservation which they said isn't necessary but advised at peak hours. The cafe is a rustic two story farmhouse that's cozy and comfortable. Booths or small tables but you almost feel like you sat down in your grandma's dining room and she's baking fresh cinnamon buns in the kitchen (which they do and the aroma is heavenly). The menu looked great and the breakfast was perfectly done and prompt. And they serve cracklings as a meat choice, which I gotta say is a guilty pleasure but on a sourdough rye toast with jam, it's a welcome blast from the past for me. Oh and service was extremely personable and friendly. Worth the trip if you're ever looking for that hidden jem café. Go for a drive with a friend and try it.”
