“This past weekend on a beautiful fall day we got to have the wonderful pleasure of getting married at this amazing place. The venue is amazing both inside and out and the service that the owners Joy and Scott provided us with was second to none. Throughout what has been one of the most challenging years to plan a wedding they were there to help us and support us every step of the way. We can't thank them enough for making this past weekend everything we dreamed of and more. We would highly recommend hiring their awesome in house staff for the full bar service as well. They took care of absolutely everything. From clearing the tables to serving drinks in a timely fashion, it was exceptional. If you are even considering going to look at this venue for your wedding day we would highly recommend doing so. The weekend cabins are also beautiful to stay in if you're just looking for a weekend getaway. We would give our experience here 6 stars if we could, and we wouldn't have changed a single thing. Best venue ever!! ❤”

“We had the best stay at Moongate Guesthouse last weekend! The grounds are expansive and picturesque and we felt at peace as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the sauna and doing yoga and meditation on the dock along the river. Jenny and Michel are such gracious and hospitable hosts who made us feel so welcome! They also made delicious sourdough bread, granola and jellies which we were able to enjoy. Our vibrations were raised significantly after staying here. Highly recommend this place if you want to disconnect from technology and bustling city life, connect with nature and your trip companion(s), and live timelessly!”

“Very friendly staff and excellent fast food, though limited menu. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the price. In response to your question: I was very please with the delicious chicken burger and fries. The only improvement I would suggest is a wider selection of meals, the fast food selection (and quality/quantity) is excellent.”
