I've been active in the contract negotiations for this local as an employee representive for the last 12yrs and have enjoyed the nuances of the process. This union includes all the members who wish to be active in it and does make a difference for people working under their collective agreements. I've found our union leaders to be level headed and reasonable when dealing with both my employer and troublesome members.
