Wayne Fleming Arena - Max Bell Centre

Beautiful and such a well maintained hockey rink.
They open it for recreational skating for 2-3 slots every week and you can find it for booking on the UofM Rec app.
Booking the slot is free for UofM students and members of Centre for Active Living (UofM gym). But you have to bring your own skates, there's no option of renting here.
An indoors skating rink is so much better than freezing to death skating outside in the -30°C Winnipeg winter. Being able to skate without jacket, gloves, hat and scarf was such a refreshing change😂

The arena itself is nice.
The dressing rooms really need upgrades to the shower/washroom areas.

It's a good venue, but dated. I've heard that there is an upgrade coming! That would be great news. It's a warmer arena which makes it tougher to play.

A small arena with character and charm. A great place to watch junior or university hockey. It has a basic range of food and drinks available. Seating is on wooden benches with backs.
