Animal Hospital of Chesterfield

We were on our way out of town when we rec’d a call from our home vet that our dog needed to start a medication. After calling other local places, we finally, thankfully, got in touch with the wonderful staff at AHoC. They were completely understanding of our situation, and were willing to act as our vet pharmacy simply by being in touch with our home vet. No demands for an office visit (which we literally just had at our home vet) or repeat test, just great coordination of care between offices! If we were local, this is where we would go! Great job all!

We take our dog to AHOC for veterinary care, boarding, daycare, and sometimes grooming. (Our cat goes there as well for veterinary care). We always have friendly service (even though the staff at the front desk are typically extremely busy); the vets spend time with us explaining procedures, answering questions, etc.; our dog is always really excited to go to daycare so we are comfortable and confident he is being well cared for; and prices are comparable to most vet offices. We definitely highly recommend their staff and services. Thay have been very compassionate and empathetic with the passing of our previous dog and cat in past years. We trust our veterinarian completely which is really comforting.

Cannot say enough good things about this animal hospital. They gave me back my special little cat and I am so grateful.

First time there but they were super friendly and very attentive and caring to my Romeo & me... his very nervous mom! They were not test happy. They dealt with the signs and treated him accordingly. I would definitely recommend!

Everyone at the Animal Hostpital of Chesterfield is delightful. We started going here years ago with our elderly dog when we felt the service at our old vet was lacking. It was a night and day difference. Everyone is extremely pleasant, and eager to help. The fees are very reasonable (and made us realize how much we were being overcharged by our old vet). Dr. Hackel (just one of the great staff) is a great vet, and will do everything he can to take care of your loved pet.
