(February 1, 2019, 1:43 pm)Historic lightship that used to be anchored in the foot of Lake Huron, guiding ships into and out of the St. Clair River (modern automated navaids have long since taken over the job. Get a glimpse of what life was like on a somewhat lonely post, and see and hear the freighters salute with their horns as they go by on the river.

(September 25, 2018, 8:03 pm)Beautiful tour of the ship, and Freighters were passing by. When the ship bell rings the Freighters sound off their horn.The tour really was packed with history of the Lighthouse Ship and saw lens used on it and captain, crew kitchen quarters.Very I teresting.
(September 9, 2018, 1:35 am)Very interesting and thorough guided tour that lasted at least 90 min (be aware of the time commitment, but worth it). I did not know there were manned lightships on the Great Lakes, so seeing one and learning about their functioning and the life of the crew was fascinating.
(August 17, 2018, 6:46 pm)Great self- guided tours. If you have a question, someone is there to help you. My kids are 9 and 11, both enjoyed it.
