“The eighteen foot long model of the Titanic was awesome! Fine Art Models, was commissioned by Harland & Wolff in 1995 to build the builder's model of RMS Titanic. Harland & Wolff is the same company that built the real RMS Titanic ship. There had never been a builder's model of Titanic built and therefore no one ever knew what the ship really looked like. Fine Art Models was given access to the original plans, drawings and every photograph of Titanic known to exist. It took over 7 years to build the model. That's 4 years more than it took to build the real Titanic. This model is the most accurate model of Titanic ever built. It measures 18 feet long and offers an authentically detailed view of the Titanic as it was in 1912.”

Address: 510 Thomas Edison Pkwy, Port Huron, MI 48060, USA
“A tiny museum with a lot of information about Edison. The guy inside gave us a detailed intro on what to see and a little background when we went which was nice. Few of the exhibits were interactive ones and there was a short film that you can watch about the history. Overall it was a great experience.”

“Historic lightship that used to be anchored in the foot of Lake Huron, guiding ships into and out of the St. Clair River (modern automated navaids have long since taken over the job. Get a glimpse of what life was like on a somewhat lonely post, and see and hear the freighters salute with their horns as they go by on the river.”
