First time Bear hunting and saw a bear every time I was in my stand. Shot my first Bear the 2nd day out. My guide Dave was Great! He tough me alot about Bear hunting and what to wait for. Can't wait to come back in the spring and hunt with Dave. The owners Hal and Janet were great too. Janet's cooking was outstanding,killed my diet.

Salmon River Bend Outfitters is a top class outfit. Hal is one of the most experience hunters I have encountered all over the world and Janet makes for a fine host and partner! Mike is my favorite guide and always puts me on a big bruin. You cannot go wrong and I highly recommend a hunt or just a trip to Salmon River Bend!!!

We were there me and my two brothers for a moose hunt last year and it was wonderful. Hal and his wife Janet are by far the best host's that we ever had. Just got back from Salmon river Bend Outfitters. Great place with great hospitality and food. Hal and Janet do a great job as the host. The guides work extremely hard for you to see bear. I shot a 325 lb Black bear on the first day. The weather was not great for the week i went and there were 16 hunters in camp for the week I was there. 17 bears were shot. I really enjoyed the experience and will be back in 2020.
