Portage Atlantic - Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Centre

Overall I believe that Portage is one of the best forms of treatment for substance abuse. It has a five star review as well as an 80% success rate for the residents who finish the program. I graduated Portage 3 years ago and I think it was the best decision I have ever made. They helped me discover my potential as a person and encouraged me to live my life to fulfill my purpose in the world. While I was there they taught me several different skills such as being organized, being objective as well as being self aware. I still use these skills in my every day life. After my Program I was given several different awards such as employee of the week and year at my job. I also had the opportunity to graduate college with a 96% academic average while receiving 3 different awards. After college I decided to volunteer at Portage and I also did a student placement there. It was an incredible experience helping the youth at Portage discover their full potential just like they helped me do when I was a young adult.

They are helping young adults cope and to see life can be good without the scourge of drugs looming amidst their thought processes. Thank you for that. Never give up as they are fixable and need love.

These are the perfect place for our young people who have drug or other problems! My son is here and I see him growing through this beautiful program! Best decision of his life! Thank you to all the staff.
