Lisa was able to pick up on subtle comments I made in conversation about my husband's personality and preferences and she easily incorporated them into the features of the quilt-his attachment to his Cape Breton roots, his love of baseball, his preferred ties, his favourite color purple-can all be easily picked out. I had hoped to report on the "reveal" with his parents but the current pandemic restrictions have delayed the surprise.
