The Gentlemen's Backyard Garden & Apiary

I placed my Spring order at the end of January 2021.
It took an awful long time, but my plants arrived July 14, 2021.

Everything was packaged extremely well, and all looked rather healthy.
(Added a can of Canadian for size reference)

I read somewhere that there were problems with suppliers this Spring. I believe notifying customers on their website which orders they were working on would have provided customers a boost of confidence.

Moving forward, I'm eager to see what is available for Fall 2021.

Placed an order before shipping started for the spring season. Was delayed due to an issue with the seller receiving shipment on their end which wasn't communicated to buyers upon purchase, only after reaching out. That's my only complaint and my reasoning for 4 stars. I understand being a small business, but communication and customer service is key. That being said, once I did receive my order the plants were in fantastic shape and are now doing great planted in my garden. It's late in the season now, but I may order a few more plants and definitely would purchase again next year if needed.

Sure my order took a bit longer to be ready than I had anticipated, but the quality of the plants/roots won me over. Within two days of planting two bare root clumps I had signs of growth and that was 4 weeks ago and the plants are now thriving!!
I have ordered from this business before and will continue to do so as the quality speaks for itself and I love to support small, local businesses. I have learned that you just need to be prepared and place your order nice and early and allow around 8 weeks to receive it. Now that I've gone through one full year of planting in my new home/garden I know what works and what doesn't and can order accordingly for my fall planting plans and I won't wait until April 21st to place my spring planting order next year 😂

Like many I experienced some long delays with my order, however I was very pleased the with the quality and selection of the plants. I debated a higher or lower rating but decided that ultimately what I did receive was worth the wait. I did get responses on the status of my order and the shipping was super quick once it happened, the plants were packaged immaculately and came undamaged. I would buy from them again, just hoping that the shipping is faster next year!
