Was experiencing spikes over 200Bq/m3 after I purchased my house and tested for Radon. Requested a free quote to correct the levels and was advised my air exchange was blocked on the outside of the house and cleaning interior vent will help Radon levels. I cleaned it and the long term level is now 100Bq/m3. Fingers crossed but I definitely will have mitigated with Radon Repair if long term hits 200Bq/m3 over the winter.
Could have been easy not to say anything and gain a sale but their honesty was greatly appreciated and I would recommend contacting Radon repair if you have any issues at all.
Attached is my before and after levels after a week of the estimate
They showed up to do a quote the same day i called, and then booked me in for a bit over a week later when they had an opening. The workers showed up on time and did great work. They always consulted me when they had to make any changes to the basement. They cleaned up the space well after they finished and the whole process was done in about 5 hours. My radon levels went down from over 1000 Bq/m^3 down to around 30-40 Bq/m^3.
Service was excellent.arrived on time, very polite and pleasant and worked diligently until job was done and cleaned up after.results were better than we expected.would definitely recommend.thank you.
Jeff and his team did an awesome job. Would highly recommend! Radon measuring much lower now.
I had a mitigation done by these guys over a year ago and it was a great experience. Everything was explained clearly to me, unlike with other specialists from whom I received quotes, and they punctually made the trip to Fredericton to do the work. Radon levels in my basement have dropped from an average of around 500 Bq/m3 to around 50 Bq/m3.
