“I had a great hunt and harvested a record book animal on the second evening with a primitive bow. Food was great in camp, Lloyd, Rhonda, and their children were great while there. I continued to sit and film other hunters including another bow harvest. I even sent more clients that way. All was well until I tried to get my rug back that I had made in Nova Scotia. Lloyd did not complete paperwork properly so my rug was seized at the border. Afterwards(several months) the rug was sent back to him. Multiple attempts to get the rug in my possession were met with resistance, eventually turning into being ignored. I even had another local Hunter I set up with him offer to bring it to me on their return trip. Lloyd refused to let my trophy bear rug go anywhere. It was only with the help of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that I eventually received my rug in the States. This is an honest review and I gave three stars because there was plenty of game there and I did enjoy the actual hunt. Others I sent before the rug ordeal left camp early due to safety concerns and conflicting personalities you could say with Lloyd. God bless you all!”

“I enjoy RiverRun Campground. The owners, Cathy and John White are amazing couple. The campground is beautiful, washrooms are amazingly clean and the campers are friendly. There are activities planned each year. If you are looking for a place to camp I recommend you drop by and check it out yourself.”

“In an effort to chase the sun this weekend we landed at this campground for the first time. It’s a beautiful spot surrounded on 3 sides by amazing water views. If it were a little warmer I imagine the water would be full of boats and swimmers as water access is everywhere. The staff are going to great lengths to ensure everything is COVID safe, and while there are a few restrictions, their efforts have made it very easy to take a weekend and forget about the world. We had a blast in our little tent trailer but they’re well equipped with everything from beautiful tent sites to pull through 3 way sites.”
