Center is closed for the season due to covid, but had a nice walk on the beach. Really nice views.
A great chance to see the shorebirds up close as they feed before their long flight to South America.
What a great spot. It was a lot of fun to see the little birds.
This place is absolutely stunning! Definitely off the beaten path, but is a wonderful spot to walk around, walk on the beach and watch the tide come in. The staff were very knowledgeable about the birds. You do have to come at the right time of year and day though. Even if you don't get to see any birds, this place is scenic beauty that only the bay of Fundy can provide. There are several picnic tables setup, so it's also a great place to eat a lunch (if you packed one that is). This place is a hidden gem of New Brunswick.
Admission is by donation. Parking is free and there is plenty of it and there is a washroom located by the parking area.
Center occupies old cabin along the shore at scenic location. Lots of parking with washroom facilities, picnic tables, and paths amongst the forest and beach. Personnel running the center are enthusiastic to share their extensive knowledge about the area and the bird migrations. Highly recommended for anyone interested in bird watching and nature conservation.
