“Ballast Lodge is the perfect location for a relaxing, replenishing weekend. We stayed in the beautiful guest house and couldn't get over the view. Our hosts Pat and Anita were warm, caring and they have thought of absolutely everything you could need or want for an easy and comfortable stay. My husband and I participated in the "together for good marriage retreat" and really enjoyed watching and discussing the video sessions on our own time. We also enjoyed strolling along the Fundy coast and made good use of the "gymbrary". We left feeling refreshed, connected and would highly recommend a weekend stay (or even longer) at the Ballast Lodge. We'll be back!”

“This place is absolutely stunning! Definitely off the beaten path, but is a wonderful spot to walk around, walk on the beach and watch the tide come in. The staff were very knowledgeable about the birds. You do have to come at the right time of year and day though. Even if you don't get to see any birds, this place is scenic beauty that only the bay of Fundy can provide. There are several picnic tables setup, so it's also a great place to eat a lunch (if you packed one that is). This place is a hidden gem of New Brunswick. Admission is by donation. Parking is free and there is plenty of it and there is a washroom located by the parking area.”
