“Excellent. The greatest part about Fener's Place are the people who work there. By far the friendliest and most generous service I have experienced with frequent care and complimentary bottled water and even complimentary tea or coffee offered. The family that owns the restaurant is exceedingly friendly and kind. I've come here to eat or take-out five times now and the food has always been outstanding. The prices are far below what should be charged and the portions are generous and the food is filling. The atmosphere is sunny and warm during the day and the restaurant couldn't be better located in the downtown. The only thing I don't find consistent is the slow, relaxing piano music that is playing throughout the day which will make you want to fall asleep, especially for late-night dining which the restaurant is most popular for. For me, Fener's is without a doubt the most under-appreciated restaurant in Sackville. Perhaps that will change with time since they've been open for less than a year.”

“Cool little cafe with very kind and friendly staff. The everything breakfast sandwich was fantastic on the homemade brioche. I asked for hot sauce on mine which was a nice balance with the sweetness from the brioche. Good price too for such a large sandwich, I was full for a better half of the day.”

“This will be one of the places we add to our tradition when coming to Amherst to visit family. My brother recommended it and it was better than expected. The service was excellent and there was even live entertainment. They had a train ride pulled by a tractor, a sunflower maze, bouncy play structure, you pick blueberries and raspberries, bread, biscuits, honey and, of course, ice cream. They had so many choices of flavours. I had chocolate mocha and raspberry chocolate. The best ice cream. I would highly recommend this place. Family atmosphere and professional warm service.”

When we were served are meals we got asked once in passing if everything was ok but after that never got checked on again. Drinks never got refilled and plates not cleared. And were never asked if we wanted to look at a dessert menu. Staff looked put out that we were even there, as we were the only table in the place.”
