“Jim was very patient and very prepared for everything and anything. We started with a print out which was for “no pressure” type study. Jim quizzed me on this at random during our training to ensure I knew my terms well. I still do. We went slow with him sailing and teaching me one thing at a time. Over the time you warm up and take over. It is more work heavy on light days and more fun on windy days. Because he is (seemingly literally) always sailing or on the dock it makes it very easy to schedule with him hours at pretty much anytime... through text, call, email. All in all I really enjoyed it and it’s definitely worth the amount of money. I will also say I am surprised how much goes into sailing, it definitely requires training and it’s worth it’s bragging rights alone.”

“What can I say but Thank You. This man is the best instructor anyone can ask for. I was so nervous and scared my first lesson and from the moment I got in the car I felt at ease. Arif makes u feel comfortable and ready. If you wanna know how to drive go to One Stop Driving School. Thanks to him I passed my road test and now feel good about driving. So Thank You again.”

“Went out last week and we had an amazing time!! The captain was great, very friendly and very professional!! Being able to listen to your own music, bring your own food and alcohol beverages makes for a fun night! The best part was being able to see downtown, many silo’s and a beautiful sunset from the boat!! Can’t wait to do it again!!!!”

“We took the Silo City tour. It was amazing! There was only 4 of us on the tour, but that didn't stop our captain or docent from giving us the full experience. We learned so much and gained a new appreciation for the hard work and struggles of those who came before us. Highly recommend this tour.”

“Spectacular tour! Appropriate for both tourists and locals. My father has lived in Buffalo 65 years and said all of the information was new to him. Our tour guide did an excellent job of narrating historical fact through entertaining stories. Highly recommended. One note though: we went on the 4:30 tour which was perfect. It seemed like the 5:30 tour was on a much smaller boat, but the website doesn't seem to distinguish between the two.”

“We enjoyed a perfect day aboard the spirit of Buffalo pirate adventure. We had no issues purchasing our tickets , the crew went above and beyond to make sure that our children aged 3 and 1 and a 1/2 had a great time. The crew of pirates keeps the little ones occupied while the adults relaxed and offered adult beverages at the cash bar. The entire boat ride started promptly on time and ended on time . The family and I we had a truly wonderful time and would highly recommend anyone to go on this adventure.”

“Wish we could leave a + star! It couldn’t have been a better first time experience for us on a sailboat. We were welcomed in the parking lot by Captain Rich and welcomed aboard by Captain Mary. She provided so much information about the history of the area and its landmarks, and even more of historical information as well as current information about the visiting tall ships! Friendly, professional, knowledgeable. It was a beautiful day on a gorgeous boat in good company. Thank you for a perfect afternoon! We’ll be back!”

“Get a new commercial. Its embarrassing to watch the same ad you've had out forever. Most of the people in that commercial are retired or dead.”
