Holiday Inn Express Grand Island - Niagara Falls

Our first impression pulling in was good. A new hotel. Then we got in the room. Not so good. I had to mop the bathroom floor myself due to hair everywhere. The carpet also wasn’t vacuumed. Trash pieces were on the carpet, even a Lego. However everything else looked ok. We came in at 1 am exhausted so the bed slept nice. The breakfast looked average to me as other free continental breakfasts.

Stayed here while on vacation to see Niagara Falls with my family. Would gladly stay again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had one with 2 queen beds and a fold out couch. It was a really good sized room. We used the pool too, very clean and just the right size for my kids to enjoy. Only a short drive to Niagara Falls too and much cheaper than the hotels right by the falls. Plus we enjoyed several of the great restaurants along 324 in Grand Island.

Nice hotel!! Stayed for 2 nights at a decent price. Free breakfast which was good. Only about 10-15 min drive to Niagara Falls. Super quiet and clean. Small but nice pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

This is one of the best hotels in the area. The rooms are huge and very new. They have a indoor pool that is heated, gym, and everything else you could want. Free coffee and it's actually good. If your staying in Grand island pick this!!!!!!

The HIE is located in a building that was abandoned for probably 30 years... I drove by this all this time while visiting family.
Do not let that scare you!
Recently opened...it is a fantastic reuse of a building that is modern and clean.
The rooms are well appointed and the bath has a great shower and very well lit.
The lobby area and breakfast are top notch for a hotel breakfast.
Easily access to Niagara Falls and Buffalo makes this a great location. It is isolated so make sure you have all you need before artiving.
One environmental item I like..
The shampoos and washes are all in pump bottles in the shower. No small bottles to replace....
Sorry to those who like to take the shampoo bottles home!
Very comfortable bed and linens...

Forget the craziness of Niagara Falls....you are only 15 minutes away!
