I always get good service here. Some of the products can be mislabeled at times but that is only a minor annoyance. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the products.
They do the minimum of everything so that they can seem like they have and do everything. I took two years of Information Technology as a vocational class in high school, and I can't get help from the geek squad because I know more than they do about fixing my electronics which isn't much knowledge. Instead of rooting out a virus, they'll either sell you anti-virus software or explain a factory reset. They have limited selection of each item despite having most items (like color choices for mp3 players and cellular phones) thus relying on online orders. I walk out and order things from their parking lot more than buying in store. As much as keeping updated is important, they don't have many items that I seek because they've gotten newer versions that may not be preferred or inexpensive. That or I want a less popular item for features that most people wouldn't be looking for. For a possibly justifiable reason, they price item's differently based on color. Best Buys I haven't been to might be better in which case I'm rating their hiring criteria and employees which probably vary from store to store.
Employee Shawn was one of the most helpful people to help with our 90 year old grandmother today. I was holding back my tears as he showed patience and kindness as he helped her with what she was looking for in Best Buy. I hope when we return that we can reach out to him directly and thank him for our experience.
Ordered online for a store pickup. Was informed that my order was ready, a few hours later when I arrived for the item, it wasn't at the pickup desk area. This is not the first time this has happened. Clerk was very cool tho, not her fault.
My second purchase here in the past few weeks. Knowledgeable staff helped me choose the right items quickly and efficiently. Prices are competitive and I go home with my item instead of waiting for mail, etc.
