“I love Sharps, it's a very small shop with lots of fresh produce grown right around the property. Their deli meats are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend trying the Italian roast beef or BBQ chicken! Their bacon is also the thickest cut I've ever seen and taste awesome! It is a little small so when it gets busy it is a little hard to navigate. They have lots of spices, baking supplies, fresh produce, baked goods, nuts, candies, local specialties, cheeses, jams, and more. They're always polite and very quick to serve!”

“Anchor Carpet Cleaning did a tremendous job while I was away on vacation. I received reminders and confirmation on when the job was completed which was a real bonus in my book. My carpets look amazing and I have 2 dogs. IF you have pets, I recommend the Power Package where they do a deep clean. I also had 2 pieces of furniture cleaned and I'm so happy I did that as well. I used this company years ago and had no idea they upgraded their equipment. They show up in a Mobile unit which carries their own water and they carry out the waste water accumulated from the cleaning. You can trust this company to do a great job at a very reasonable price. Two thumbs up :)”

“There has a wide selection of crafts for all skill groups. While we were there a ten year old sat behind us and had a ton of fun with his dad (In his 30s). I also really appreciate the level of Independence that they provided. You we're encouraged to customize your craft as much as you want. They even went so far as to make a custom stencil for my project. They also have a better selection of beer than the more expensive restaurants in the surrounding area! And only $4-5 per drink!”

“Favorite summer spot. You can walk in through the trail and end up a ways down the beach. Or you can drive in and park right near picnic tables and the guarded swimming area. Even in the winter it's a lovely place for a walk.”

“My husband and I have lived in Fort Pike Apartments for a year. We absolutely love renting from Fort Pike - our 2bedroom townhome is really nice, but what really sets Fort Pike apart is their staff: Bonnie, Scott, Curtis, and Beth. They truly go above and beyond to help you out, fix anything asap (rarely needed, but they are top of it), and they really care about you. Just a couple examples, they let us use a window AC unit because we needed some more cool temps upstairs, and recently with all of our major snow they are always plowing, and they even made walkways for your pets to be able to still get out and walk. Again, they go above and beyond. I know a lot of people say the utilities are high (electricity) given heat/ac, but we have lived in two other apartments up here one in a new complex and one renting in a home, and our utilities are on par with the same sq ft as other areas. The location is close to the eateries/bars, and the town is walkable and has so much life and things to do during the tourist season... it does quiet down during the winter, but it is really quite perfect and peaceful.”
