“You can never be sure of what you'll get when staying at a mom-and-pop motel but you can rest easy with the Aspinwall. Owners are very welcoming. We learned about the local history and about the homestead where the motel now sits. Rooms looked to be recently renovated and where very clean. Picnic table and a grill are provided at each room.”

“The lodge is small but very clean and well kept. Tim the owner is very friendly. The rooms are very rustic with pine post beds. Small kitchen are stocked with the necessities. Front porch with seating area to kick back and enjoy the weather. Short walk to Henderson bay. Very scenic view. Only draw back there is very little in. The way of stores. Have to drive a few miles to find places to eat. ON Saturday evening Tim is going to prepared a meal for my crew of four here at the lodge. LOTS OF LIMITS. HOPING for a great meal. Lake Ontario fishing for the past few weeks has been good. As long as the weather cooperates should have a good weekend”

“The previous rating was in error. We go Westview lodge every weekend in the summer while out on the boat. Prime Rib is always delicious, fresh perch almost every weekend and you have to try the bang bang shrimp.”

“The Bluffs is an enchanting place.. built in the 1800s as a hotel, it might have been destroyed if not for current owner Paul Bryant. It is now a two bedroom B&B.. each with own washroom. From the moment you arrive, Paul will greet you and make your stay a relaxed, memorable experience. You may choose to have your breakfast any time as Paul says his job is done when guests sleep in. Paul is also the chef and makes a full breakfast including bacon, eggs, homemade biscuits, potatoes, fruit. There are many lovely places to sit for breakfast. Even better, you need not leave the property for dinner. Paul will prepare you a 5 course dinner to die for and you make eat at the table overlooking the Bluff. Plate shown is Puttanesca. You don't have to be a guest to come for dinner but reservations are required. BYOB.. I will certainly return whenever I can”
