A very nice park, with well kept grounds, and very clean. Plenty of garbage cans, and they weren't overflowing with trash like at some other parks. There are several shelters, and picnic tables to use. There is plenty of parking, a playground for children, frisbee golf, a memorial, and a baseball field. There is something for everyone, its not over crowded, but you see a few people having lunch, or using playground. I would certainly recommend checking this park out.
Nice park in north western part of lockport. I have been coming here sense the early 1980's. In fact I was married at the rose garden in 1986. I come back every year to the garden only to see how time has been so cruel not only to me but the structure as well. Also it's a shame all the years 4 of july was always celebrated in the park. Not anymore.
Nice park. Had a baseball game here... field itself needs a little work, but great area around field for fans to watch. Plenty of trees for shade. Decent restrooms.
I've been visiting this pool since I was a child.
This is a good place to take the grandkids on a hot day.
The pool is not usually crowded.
Although the price is pretty reasonable and there is an opportunity to purchase a season pass at different levels...there have been no updates to this pool/grounds in several years.
The ladies shower room needs fresh paint throughout. The floor is usually dirty.
The pool sometimes has candy wraps, bugs hair floating around. The ledges aground the pool could use a good scrubbing.
The railing near the steps going in to the shallow end is loosened.
Limited shade fo older folks and very small children.
The park is nice. There are a couple of pavilions available to have a party in and they even have charcoal grills to use if you want. There's a baseball diamond on one side and a playground on the other. My only complaint was that the public bathrooms were locked, and the nearest store isn't very close.
