I had a problem with my 2015 F-150. It is a known problem that is found in many places on the Internet. Basil Ford was aware of the problem and applied the fix (replace the throttle body). No issues with Basil Ford (other than the cost, but that's another issue work all dealer services). My real issue is with Ford. I bought the truck used from Basil last August. It started showing signs of a problem last November when we were heading to Florida. The cruise control kicked off and I got an alert that the Hill Start Assist wasn't available. Everything else continued to work fine and when I stopped and restarted the engine, everything was fine. It happened once again on the way down, but shutting of and restarting the engine fixed it. It did it again in February. We've been home since April, and too a trip to the Adirondacks. On the way back everything went off; cruise control, Hill Start Assist, the service engine light went on, and the accelerator wouldn't work. A restart once again reset everything, but it happened again a week later, which is when I brought the truck in for service. My research shows this problem was very common and for the life of me I cannot understand why Ford thinks it's perfectly ok to make a customer pay over $400 to fix a manufacturing/engineering/design flaw of their making. I have less than 50,000 miles on the truck. The throttle body shouldn't fail at this point. And, if course, it's not covered by the power train warranty, even though it's what creates the power. Also, this failure doesn't create any service codes, so Basil can't guarantee this will actually fix the problem. issues Again, no issues with the Basil Ford service department, but I am very dissatisfied with Ford and their failure to take care of their customers. I'm reading Basil 3 out of 5 because I don't know if my problem is fixed, they would have charged me $131.50 just to diagnose the problem if I didn't have them replace the throttle body, which I contemplated because they couldn't tell me it would fix the problem. Before bringing it to Basil, I took it to my regular service garage we spent a day trying to figure it out. Because it doesn't generate any codes, they told me they didn't know what the problem was and didn't want to just throw parts at it. They didn't charge me anything! So, when it happened again, I thought I would take it to the dealer, and now they've thrown a part at it and we can only hope it works.
While on the road 2600 miles from home, we get a brake system warning light. We called Basil Ford to see if they would be able to get us in while we were here for a week. They scheduled us for the next morning and had us completed in 5 hours. Thank you so much.

I had service done on my car at Basil in Niagara Falls and was very pleased. Drive in the bay, they service people are prompt and friendly, they offered me a shuttle ride if I needed to get to work and a pickup after. Wow!! That was fantastic. When the work was complete they explained what had been done, let me know about the overall status of my car and any concerns I may want to address. Fast, curtious and well priced. I will definitely go back.
This was the best experience my husband and I have had by far! We have dealt with several other dealerships/salesman and have never been as satisfied as we are with Basil Ford and our salesman Jack White. The salesman made vehicle searching fun and family friendly as we had three kids with while searching. The process was smooth and easy from start to finish, we left with our vehicle same day with added accessories installed!
