“We liked Ray's. It's the sort of place that doesn't look like much, but is quite nice inside. It's not quite an "old man bar," but could be if it doesn't keep up with the nice upkeep. We were there in the mid-afternoon, and only one other family was there. We had burgers and sandwiches, and they were all great. The homemade pickles were a dream (although my partner wasn't fond of them, as he was expecting dill pickles and they tasted sweeter, like bread and butter flavor). Our server was friendly, too, and very helpful. We'd try to come back if we were in the area.”

Their St. Patrick's Day event is well attended by the Irish and the Irish-for-the-day with great music and great times by all under outdoor tenting (and I've never seen nor heard of any kind of altercation there!). A good downhome spot for a quiet drink.”

“LOVE this place!!! Came in a couple of weeks ago with my parents (Maggie & Jim) who are regulars here. It was my 1st time here, & I was incredibly impressed with the friendly atmosphere & how well the staff treated my parents. My mother is wheelchair bound & lives in a nursing facility, so outings are a real treat for her. They prepared her tea for her, & made her smile. I travel all over the country with my truck driver fiance, & we like to try mom & pop restaurants. I grew up in WNY, but I had never been to this rare gem. So glad I finally did. I really want to say from the bottom of my heart that this place is definitely a new favorite place to visit when I'm in the area. P.S. Their Apple pie & chocolate peanut clusters are AMAZING! Thanks guys, I will definitely be back!”
