Anchor Motel

No frills, somewhat dated and crumbling in spots. However, owners are super nice, room was comfy, great location, beautiful yard on Niagara River and great price. Note, they really need a handrail on the pool stairs!!!

Very reasonably priced and comfy for those that don't need a lot of frills. Gorgeous yard overlooking the Niagara River and a good sized pool. Owners are so friendly, they make you feel like family. Rooms aren't fancy, but they are comfy and plenty big enough for a few days. My only concern is that the rooms are not handicapped accessible, but we made do.

Stayed here for 4 nights on for my anniversary. The rooms are quiet and clean. They are a bit dated, but if you look past that they’re quite charming. The staff was friendly and courteous. Only problem we had was the moths were terrible for 2 days. You almost couldn’t sit outside. It was like that everywhere we went in Niagara so it’s not the motels fault. Also, remember that there is no breakfast or coffee in the morning.

Nice motel! GREAT location right on the water, nice clean rooms and they even smell clean when you walk in them, and the owner Cathy is super nice. We left a cell phone charger at home and she gave us one to use. Unfourntantly I am not giving it a 5 star's because our TV in the room they couldn't get it to work at all. So unfortunately we checked out and went someplace else. Wasn't gonna pay the money without a working TV. They tried to get it working but couldn't and had no other vacant rooms to put us in another room. Got a full refund with no problem. I wish it would have worked out sense this is a decent clean motel for the price. Will for sure give the Anchor Motel a second chance another time and try again. Just be aware of no breakfast and no coffee in the morning either even no coffee or no coffee pot in the room.
