This place gave me a peaceful feeling. Too much glass seemed like others don't respect their way of drinking during the evening hours
The staff was less than helpful and their swimming area left alot to be desired. They did have a nice looking playground.
Park is ok overall. We thought the beach would be bigger, but seems like the high water levels flooded most of the sand so there isn’t much area to sit on/play on. Kids liked going on the trail by the wake and through the woods. Playground was very big and in good shape.
Unfortunately most of the beach was washed away because water levels rose elsewhere and caused the sand to be removed.
The people were mostly old and looking for tumbled pieces of rock or glass. (No Einsteins or Cindy Crawfords (Except my girlfriend at this beach))
We had a good fire (which wasn’t listed against rules for the park)
Our service dog loved digging in the dirt and brought joy to everyone with her playfulness.
Maybe 300 or so feet of “beach”
A quaint beach overlooking Lake Ontario. I find it to be lovely place to go any time, irrespective of whether it's bright and clear or cloudy or even after dark. Although it's just forty five minutes drive from Buffalo NY, the place is remarkably quiet and tranquil. In the summers, it's an ideal place to go and sit for a quiet reflection. On of my late night trips, I had been fortunate to be treated to a lovely view of the milky way galaxy in all of its shining glory. Really one of my favorite places.
