“We have been regulars to the Food truck for a while now but today we made the trip down to the cafe because I wanted to try the Indian Style Fish and Chips. It was absolutely delicious. The curry sauce over the fresh home fries was so good and the Pakora battered fish was a nice twist on a traditional meal. Great to see new items being added to list of great food.”

“Be aware: this place takes cash only, but there’s an ATM in the restaurant. This place is a must for any time we have family visiting in town. Some of the best fish and chips on the Avalon Peninsula. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The building is comfortable for the crowd that shows up in slow season, when there’s no tourists. The patio is available for extra seating in the tourist season when a summer’s day allows for enjoying the breeze coming off the bay. The few times we’ve had to wait for seating, it’s never taken very long. The view is amazing, and on a hot summer’s day last year there were kids jumping off the dock into the water. Sometimes there are fishermen cleaning their catch on the wharf. It’s a nice small-town community feel as you see folks launching their boats or pulling them up on the trailer, heading out into the bay for the food fishery, and see people hauling their catch onto the docks.”
