“Beautiful cottages (we stayed at the Puffin) with a wonderful outlook, unfortunately appeal was impacted by the strong sulphur smell from the water and the significant number of flies around the property (owners must be aware of the issue as fly strips and swatter were prominently available). The owners advised that it was due to timing and sulphur content in the well and I think we were just unlucky to strike the wrong time of year (early September). I'm sure at other times of the year it would be delightful, unfortunately we chose to leave early as it was all a bit much to tolerate.”
