Wonderful art gallery!
Lots of beautiful things to choose from.
Local artists and also a great variety of things, sculptures, jewelry, books, postcards, wonderful paintings and more in all price ranges, you will find your treasure for sure!
Great little arts & crafts store! It is beautiful in there, and they have so many different things! So I'm sure everyone will find something to tickle their fancy! Paintings 🖼. Rock art 🪨. Natural products like handmade soaps 🧼, jams, beautiful and unique jewelry, and more. Pottery. Ceramics. Macramé. Wood art and 🪵 carvings. Books and a lot more! Lot's of Nova Scotia's culture in there! Glad to have found this beautiful place while on vacation in Nova Scotia! VERY friendly and knowledgeable staff! A must-visit for art enthusiasts!
Suggestion to get there, if you're pulling something like a camper trailer, or something similar, don't take Sissiboo Rd, it unfortunately becomes a rough gravel road really fast and with no warning at all (I think they call it "washboard gravel"), and it was really rough on our camper trailer, so rough that the little metal door for our hot water heater flew off, and we only noticed it was gone because we decided to turn around to go back to asphalt. We instead took the roads "Back Road" and then "Lansdown Road", which are both asphalt. They are off of the road "Evangeline Trail", (the number of the road is 1).
Beautiful place, a must-see when visiting Bear River, don't forget to go upstairs!
Wow, such really cool art works, amazing local artists! My sister was here from Vancouver and fell in love with a sculpture, we will be back tomorrow to buy it and keep it until her 70th birthday next year. She will be over the moon! Definitely drop in for a browse, Bear River is a wonderful place to visit.
Pretty cool store, with a gallery upstairs. Wonderfully eclectic. They sell everything from one-of-a-kind jewelry, jam, soap, sculptures, crafts and all things unique. This place has a bit of class and culture, and adds to the overall merit or this town as a worthwhile spot to visit.
