“We had such a lovely, relaxing stay here. We arrived late at night after taking the ferry from Portland, Maine, but Tanya welcomed us right away. It was a cozy, pretty room with a marvelous balcony. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and stunning sunsets there. Tanya went out of her way to make delicious gluten-free things for me for breakfast. I so appreciated it! We were able to readily visit Digby ( have scallops!) and Annapolis Royal. It’s secluded and peaceful, but easily accessible. Tanya was also really knowledgeable about all the nearby restaurants ( as well as in Halifax!), and gave us great recommendations.”

“Our glamping dome did not disappoint! Well furnished and decorated with a great view - it really is the most luxurious 'camping' experience we've ever had. Drew & Dana were awesome and the home baked cookies and muffins were such a nice touch. Very relaxing and wonderful sitting out on the deck looking over the bay. My daughter was elated to find out it was a "smart dome" with Alexa functionality throughout to turn on the lights, etc. :)”

“I have been I to the shop several times now and love it on many levels, it is homely, welcoming and smells so good! A lovely array of products besides all the candles too…lots to tempt you!. Scent is such a personal thing but the scents at Back to our Roots just get me if that makes sense. “Awesome experience! Highly recommend! When I walked in the front door I felt relaxed and at ease, even when I left after my appointment was done and have had four appointments since. The assistants and hygienists are friendly as well as Dr. Haslam, who was great with my fillings, I felt no pain or discomfort even when I got home! They were fast and on point and had me calm at all times, especially with the amazing view of the Annapolis basin. Will definitely be returning for more great service and dental work.
