When the bride first mentioned having a Photo Booth at the reception I thought it was an unnecessary expense. But the brides always right so we reached out to Drew Johnston Photography.
Honestly I could not have been more wrong. This Photo Booth was complimented and raved about all night. Everyone had so much fun with all the props and taking all the silly photos.

Abselutly love the Photos Drew took for our wedding last week. He captured every special moment for us. He has such a good eye for getting the perfect picture. Deffinetly would recommend him. Above all we had so much fun!!

I had the pleasure of having Drew capture my wedding day. He was very good at directing my husband and I with poses and capturing the true beauty of the moment. I definitely need guidance for photos and Drew was very good explaining the poses and how to move accordingly. He was very kind, friendly, and patient. He made us both feel very comfortable. I am beyond pleased with the shots he took and the memories he captured.

My husband Derrick and I chose Drew Johnston to be our photographer for our wedding this year on July 16 at the Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa in Digby, Nova Scotia. We aren't from the area so we struggled at first to find a photographer to meet the needs of our small wedding. When we met Drew we immediately knew he was our wedding photographer. Not only did he do great work, he understood exactly what we wanted and put together a package to suit our needs. He invested the time in getting to know us as a couple and he was as excited about having Digby Pines as the back drop for our photos as we were to be getting married there as it is such a special place for us and an important character in our story.

Drew has a great rapport with people. As a nervous bride, he instantly put me at ease. I had complete faith and trust in Drew to make sure we had beautiful photos that captured our special day and we weren't disappointed. Our wedding photographs were absolutely beautiful! Anyone who has seen them has raved to us about how stunning they are and how vibrant the colors and quality. Drew's attention to detail, professionalism and passion for his craft are second to none and that shines through in our photos.

Drew is not only a fabulous photographer, he is a great person and it was important to us that on our wedding day we were surrounded by supportive, caring people who were genuinely happy for us. We can't thank Drew enough. He was great to work with and made the process so easy for us from a distance. Derrick and I both highly recommend choosing Drew as the photographer to capture any special moments in your life. You'll be glad you did!

One of the most amazing days of my life was the day I married the love of my life.....
on a beautiful sun drenched day at Mountain Gap Inn.....
Drew was with me from the moment I laced up my dress to the end of the day when the sun went down.
The moments that he captured on film for me and my family are moments that I am blessed to be able to live again and again because of the true art form of Drew's incredible photography.....
The planned posed photos look like they should be in a magazine as they are ultimately perfect.....and the ones that we had fun with and made up as the day went on were captured by Drew in such a way that the photos come alive and tell a story of our magical day.....
And anyone who knows me - knows that I am incredibly "particular", and for a photographer to "wow" me is a feat in itself ...one that Drew mastered throughout the day......
Drew's professionalism is second to none and his eye for finding that perfect moment to capture is a true gift that I am thankful for as my beautiful day is etched forever in his photographs....
But putting all of that aside.....one of the most amazing things about Drew is his personality and his absolute love of his art form......
He shared his love of what he does with us and we are now blessed to have him as not only our photographer for life.....but also a very dear friend.....
Drew's love of life itself comes out in his photographs and his laughter and smiles and dedication to his art makes him a true professional to work with .....
His eye for detail and his gift of taking a photo and knowing what ones should be antiqued, or printed in black and white or the incredible way he adds a bit of color back in to a focal point in the photograph is breathtaking.....
If you are reading this to get an idea of if you should hire Drew to capture a monumental moment in your life.....whether it be your wedding or another day you want etched in photos forever.....please take my recommendation and put your day in Drew's hands.....You will thank yourself later.....just as I do every day when I look in my home and see the magic he caught with his camera for us......
