Really glad we went with wattsup. Straight talk from great people, great product.Looking forward to sitting with a nice glass of wine smiling as I watch the meter run backwards for many years to come. Stuart and the whole crew went above and beyond to get the system up and running. If you're on the fence jump off and get moving with Wattsup.
Watts Up - the people were smart, professional and patient. They spent time helping us to understand our options and to explain everything we needed to know. The quote and the process went exactly as promised. This is an excellent company with a great team. We love our new solar panels. Highly recommend.
Very good and prompt installation. Product seems to work well and seems to be on track to provide the amount of power to offset my power bill.
However there is an issue that wasn't discussed and didn't occur to me before or during the installation. In winter there is alot of uncontrolled snow and ice build up that lets go suddenly falling on my neighbors property. I've contacted the company to provide a viable solution to the problem without success. Seems like an oversight that a professional should have a solution or option during the quote phase of the installation.
Another point to consider when installing solar panels within the city are pests. Since the installation of the panels pigeons have taken to nesting under them. Last year Mike and his team removed the nests and installed a guard around the edge to keep the pigeons out. However, this hasn't worked as the problem is back. Mike's team recently stopped by and fixed the issue by installing a larger mesh product that fit the gap better.
Updated- they installed a snow fence (material provided by me) that mounts inbetween the panels as well as a guard to keep pigeons out. These are two problems that I would recommend anyone installing solar panels in the city to consider.
This was the best decision that I have ever made. The people at Wattsup Solar are fantastic! Their knowledge of the product and technology is second to none. The entire installation process from start to finish was entirely handled by them. The system is wonderful, and they were very helpful with dealing with any issues. The system has been on less than a week, and I am already saving! Highly recommended!
I work in the industry and when it came to getting my own system I knew what I was looking for. I had several quotes from competitors ultimately choosing to go with Watts Up solar based on their excellent knowledge, communication, honesty and high quality equipment. My expectations were not only met but exceeded when working with them. These guys are great at what they do and above all great to work with. A Nova Scotia family business that covers everything from start to finish and beyond. I would highly recommend them and their fantastic trades. If you are on the fence about solar it's absolutely worth it, not just financially either.
