Lucky Acres Homestead

I've bought transplants and eggs from Lucky Acres Homestead. The transplants were hardy and produced a huge amount of tomatoes well in to the season. For the first time ever I was also successful in producing cabbage and broccoli thanks to the quality of transplants Lucky Acres suppled last summer. You can tell the quality of eggs is unlike anything you'll find in the grocery store. Deep yellow yolks and delicious flavor are evidence of happy hens. I don't think they produce pork products anymore but in their first year we also purchased pork from them and it was tender and full of flavor. This all goes to say that Amelia and her family put an impressive amount of effort and dedication to providing quality products and raising both animals and produce in nourishing and positive environments. You won't be disappointed when you purchase from them. Amelia is also knowledgeable in many areas of homesteading and has given me wonderful advice on plants and placement in growing my own gardens at my home. She has done extensive research to find products and plants that fit with the demographic she grows them on. She's always prompt with responses and professional to deal with. She's honest and trustworthy which means a lot to me when purchasing for my family!
