Nice spot in a very cozy little part of town, seats are comfy, no staff at this time of the year. Unsure of the exact date of official opening, I was part of a play written by Lorie jenner-MacNutt and directed by Cynthia Myers, if you're in Chester be sure to go and see a show or 2.
We saw a concert here. It had good acoustics and we loved the size. No matter where you sit, you will be close enough to take it all in because the playhouse is on the tint side.
I was involved in the Chester Summer Theatre Performance School in my early to mid-teens and loved it! It provided me with the training and exposure that launched my professional acing career in my late teens. I highly recommend it to junior high and high school students, to both the aspiring young thespian and teens simply looking for something interesting to do with their summer break.
Opening night of God of Carnage. Was wonderful, wife says, "a terrific play". Sort of a comedic, contemporary "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolfe". Go. It is captivating, moves well, some thoughtful lines, and reflects what is going on these days
Last evening we saw Albert Schultz's Frankly, Sinatra. It was an absolutely brilliant show from all of the performers. Albert was excellent in his historical presentations and his musical tributes to the amazing life of Frank Sinatra. I could have been at a Broadway performance it was that great!
