Kenomee Log Homes

My log home as been built since 2006 and as not moved the system they have is the best we have seen.

Purchased a cottage kit In 2011 It was delivered to my site 15 miles south of Annapolis Royal NS . 1000 sq/ft I built it myself with a few friends. Kenomee had an advisor on site to get us started and help with the wall construction. All the logs were precision cut and numbered for easy construction. I upgraded kit with a steel roof and metal clad doors and windows . Highly recommend . Basically maintenance free, I re-stained after nine years.
The thermal mass of the White Cedar is amazing, cool in the summer and easily heated up in winter. As in all log homes there is some shrinkage , which is accounted for but to date I have only noticed a barely negligible 3/16 of an inch .
My wife and I love this cottage and would highly recommend Kenomee homes.

I have been enjoying my Kenomee log home which was built in 1982 as the second owner I have been enjoying my home for 20 years as the second owner. Exterior maintenance occurs every 10 years but the interior is timeless. I have always been able to source materials from the family run company for any renovation that I have done.
