The Villages of Mountain Gap Resort

I don’t understand how anyone could rate this place poorly. I assume people expected a Ritz Carlton which is just insane.
We spent 3 nights at a two bedroom three full bathroom bungalow and I will forever miss the views from our deck!
The cottage was very rustic which only added to the charm! It had everything we could wish for. Beds were large and comfortable. Pillows piled up one on top of another also worked a charm. Bedrooms had air conditioning. Water pressure in the showers was great. Kitchenette had everything you need to cook a proper meal. The pool was large and clean with lots of lounges.
The sunsets were spectacular! The entire grounds were something out of a movie set!!! I am so happy we got to stay here!!

My family and I recently had the most delightful stay at Mountain Gap Resort in Smiths Cove. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views surrounding the property. Although the rooms were not overly modern, the cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home.

The service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. We were particularly impressed by the taco bar on-site, which not only served delicious food but also offered a fantastic variety of drinks to enjoy.

The pool was a definite highlight for us, providing endless fun and relaxation for the entire family. Additionally, the easy access to the beach and nearby walking trails allowed us to explore the beauty of Nova Scotia's nature.

Despite the minor inconvenience of flimsy pillows, the overall experience was fantastic. We left with unforgettable memories and a desire to return in the future. If you're looking for a place to unwind, enjoy stunning views, and indulge in friendly service, Mountain Gap Resort is the perfect destination.

I'm not sure why anyone would write a bad review about this resort. We fell upon it and were thrilled with the cost, the VIEW and the spacious rooms with everything necessary including a kitchenette. It was our home away from home! Pool & restaurant on site were an added bonus! We can't wait to return one day. Thanks Laura!
