Our baby decided to join us 1 month early & we were quite unprepared. We knew we wanted to capture our growing family but his early arrival meant we did not book in advance. Emily's flexibility to take photos of our family on fairly short notice was so appreciated.

Initially, I was a little hesitant about taking the photos in our home but I am so grateful we did. Being at home definitely helped our 7 year old feel comfortable in front of the camera. I should also mention that not having to pack up & get in the car was very convenient amongst our newborn chaos.

Emily ensured we were comfortable & confident in front of her camera. She gave direction when needed & was also very easy going & helped us have fun with it!

Emily is wonderful to work with. We have a two year old and a 6 month old, so I wasn’t sure how our session would go. But Emily is so laid back and let the kids be kids. Emily is a warm, down-to-earth person that made my newborn shoot as comfortable as possible. I was worried my 3-week-old wouldn't sleep for the shoot and of course she didn't - she fussed and made faces the whole time! But Emily was very good at capturing the moment and working with it, producing wonderful intimate and cozy images. I loved that she incorporated elements from my home, like my musical instruments, and helped guide what to wear so we would look great and timeless together.

Emily captured beautiful newborn photos for our family. Before the session I was concerned it would be stressful with a brand new baby but Emily made it a relaxing and enjoyable experience for my husband and I and captured some beautiful shots of our sweet baby girl. We loved that we didn't have to travel and Emily did a great job of using the natural light in our home. I would 100% recommend Emily Grace Photography for family/newborn photos and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

I wanted to capture some special moments with my family, being pregnant with our second and then once he was born as a family of 4. I had never done professional pictures before working with Emily, and was quite unsure of how it would go with a toddler running around! For our maternity session, I was so impressed at how she was able to capture such wonderful pictures all while our toddler was running around like a wild child. And then during our newborn photoshoot, she was able to wrangle her into some really wonderful family photos. My favourite part was how comfortable Emily made the kids feel, it really made the whole experience so much fun!
