Brain Candy Toys

Good variety of toys, games, and educational aids. Excellent puzzle selection too. Not stuff you'll normally find in the big box stores.

I'm only giving Brain Candy Toys 5 starts because I can't give it 27.

I love this store. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. More than once they have gone out of their way to help me find a specific item, like Lego that had to be special ordered, so they ordered it for me. It's easy to tell that the staff treat it as more than "just a job". They're passionate about toys that inspire imagination and curiosity. I try to support local when I can, and this is my favourite local shop. Full stop.

Love this place. Lots of great gift ideas for kids big and small! As an added bonus you get to support a local merchant.

Amazing staff! I have been hunting for my lost tangle toy for years and couldn't find a replacement. Not only did the staff find me replacements to order in, a lady was kind enough to give me her own purple tangle toy up front, I did pay for it but it was the gesture that counted and meant the world to me. I have disabilities myself and I'm very picky with colors and textures so this was that most amazing store experience I have ever had. Keep up the lovely work

Our number one favourite toy store in all of Halifax! This store has high quality items. They have the largest Playmobil options of any children store in Nova Scotia- trust me I have tried them all!
