Very happy with the whole experience with HFX Solar, from consultation, to regular updates, to the final installation process. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The project was completed a little over a week ago, and so far everything is working just perfectly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is thinking about going solar.

HFX Solar did a great job installing our system. They looked after all of the details and installed what I consider top quality equipment, including efficient Enphase micro-inverters with 25-year transferable warranty. Ask them about their personal warranty on the quality of installation, too. All around an excellent choice.

HFX Solar Inc. have done a fantastic job in not only in their initial proposal, but in their complete contract in installing our 32 panel Solar System. They were picked because they are a local firm, employing local trades people. They were professional, competent and kept us fully informed throughout the complete contract. I would be happy to give a referral to anyone who wishes to use them.

Today is the first day with my new HFX Solar system fully operational. It is working great and I want to say how impressed I have been with the professionalism shown by this company. I work for NSP and have had many dealings with a lot of solar companies within my career. I have dealt with Josh (the owner) on numerous installs and I have watched Josh grow his company. The main reason for HFX solars stead growth is Josh’s comment to delivering a good product and giving the proper support a customer deserves all at a fair price.
I first met Josh when he was installing for another company, and he was the installer for my solar system, but not the owner. He was the guy on the roof that many homeowners never see or meet. Josh with his open and approachable manner was eager to help me out when I was told by his boss that I wasn’t able to monitor the system from away. When I asked Josh he said yes you can, he said text me your email. So, I get a text from him Sunday afternoon, in less than 48 hrs he had me up and running, just to make sure I got what I wanted. He did this as the installer who is normally mounting rails and mounting panels and is usually up on the roof, not the IT support guy.
When I had an issue with my system 3.5yrs later and tried to contact my original installer, I was ghosted and so was my warranty so I thought. I reached out to Josh and explained my situation and he said I will swing by and check it out. I then received a text from him saying that I had warranty parts that were failing. He said he would handle it and within a week he was waiting on parts and within two weeks he and one of his Installer’s Colin were on my roof on a Saturday and had me back up and running 100% before they left my property.
This is the reason for my 5 star rating for HFX Solar, for Josh and his crew who went above and beyond to deliver customer satisfaction.
Don’t waste your time looking any further, stick local with these guys, they know their stuff and are not here for the short haul. They know how to deliver great prompt customer service. I highly recommend HFX Solar if you are looking to have solar installed.
