Sushi Kawa

Great homemade food. Warming service and good price (compared to other Asian restaurants). I'll keep coming back and I highly recommend, both sushi and hot dishes.

Highly recommend this place. Moved from Ontario in the beginning of the year and can without a doubt say this is the best sushi I have EVER had. I have ordered at least once a month since being here and can confidently share that this sushi is always fresh and consistent.

It's a quiet family run shop. They do serve some pretty good standard sushi along with some other Korean food items on the menu. I tried their takoyaki, sushi, and mochi ice cream.

I personally always like to try takoyaki whenever I go, and this was exceptionally good takoyaki. I'm not sure if it's handmade in-store, but it sure tastes that way and it's really good! The outer layer was super crispy, while the inner contents stayed soft and chewy. The sushi was also well done and I don't normally like mochi but I thought I would give it a try this time. It was decent.

Highly recommend Sushi Kawa! They use high quality and fresh ingredients with lots of attention to detail. I especially loved the double mon roll as lemon zest added a unique flavor. The tempura bento box was also a good deal as you tried many items and also got miso soup and salad. The house salad was Kale salad which was delicious and first time I'd seen something other than lettuce being offered as house salad. The customer service was excellent. I will surely be visiting again 😀

I had the pleasure of visiting this place purely based on a recommendation by friends who raved about their rolls. I had some salmon rolls, spicy tuna rolls and unagi rolls. I was very impressed with the subtle layered flavour of the rolls. The sauce in the rolls was just right and the salmon and tuna they used were very tasty and fresh! I also enjoyed the Nagasaki Champon ramen (I asked them to make it Korean-style spicy). Will definitely visit again.
