“Nice and clean eatery with a pub atmosphere. Ordered the seafood linguine and it was one of the best seafood/pasta dishes I've ever had. Lots of fresh seafood with a fresh piece of garlic bread accompanying it. This dish was easily one of my top three seafood experiences ever. Old No. 7 has taken this dish to the next level and the service was very personable and refreshing. Kudos to Melissa for her mixed humour and professionalism approach to her customers. As a middle eastern and someone who frequents the HRM a lot, there is only one good shawarma option that I can recommend there so my expectations were not that high to try any other shawarma. When we got our hands on the shawarma, we thought it was, hands down, the best and most generous shawarma wrap we had in the HRM. “Utterly amazing. Walked by when I was in the area and noticed the menu on the window. This is one of the only places in the plaza I hadn't tried so figured I would get something to take home. The menu had the usually chicken balls, fried rice and egg roll combo and I've had those extra combo meals in other restaurants so I expected the quality and flavor to basic and kind of bland. Oh my god was I wrong. The quality and flavor is insane for the price you pay. I just got a side of chicken balls since it's all I was craving and I seriously regret not getting more. The food is absolutely amazing and extremely affordable. The place itself is absolutely spotless too. Very clean, good size if you wanted to dine in, and the staff are super friendly/helpful. Can't say enough good about it, so make sure you go so you can try it out for yourself!! Edit: went back to eat again a few days later. Photos attached of the C1 combo, pad thai and a restaurant pic from when we were waiting for our take out before they closed. The chicken balls are slightly discolored because I drowned them in soy sauce before I took the picture.”

“Hidden gem! This is hands down the best butter chicken I have ever had in Canada! Very flavourful and perfectly cooked. I ordered through UberEats and it arrived faster than I expected. The food was hot, and packaged so well I could potentially reuse the paper bag. I ordered the butter chicken, samosas, 2 types of naan (butter and garlic), kerla porous, jeera rice, and gulab jamun. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. My expectations were very much exceeded. There was enough food for my daughter and I plus a lunch for me for tomorrow! We will definitely return to this spot! (Probably dine in next time though!) Notes for improvement: I would love to have received a paper menu in the bag but that’s minor. I also would suggest in the description of the butter chicken (and similar items as well) letting the customer know that rice isn’t included. “Great chicken, and we love the new biscuits. Customer service is usually so friendly, but we did have a bad experience, where they forgot to bag up the actual chicken we ordered (there were a lot of sides and some drinks too), and after driving home about 15 minutes away and noticing we had no chicken, I drove all the way back to see what happened. I had to wait about half an hour in the store for it be resolved. They were getting other orders wrong when I was there. I guess the worst experience was that they didn't believe me, even with my receipt. I had to wait around for them to check their cameras and then make the chicken again. As a regular customer, that was humiliating to be treated as though I wasn't telling the truth. I used to work in customer service and know on a busy Friday night, it can be crazy, but we were taught to resolve things kindly if customers had issues. I was being calm and friendly the whole time. In the end, the cameras backed up my story, we got our chicken, and a couple extra pieces, and apologies from some people. I was satisfied with the resolution, just not with the wait on what was a mistake on their end.”
